Consultant
As a Consultant, you will work on projects across a wide range of industries and subject areas, with a particular focus on business strategy, sustainability strategy, business model development, and market entry. You will support clients in navigating complex challenges and developing tailored, forward-looking solutions that align with both commercial goals and sustainability objectives. Together with a team of other consultants, you will contribute to creating real-world impact and sustainable value through each project.
Your Responsibilities:
Market Research: Delve into public sources and conduct external interviews to gather data and insights.
Business Analysis: Examine the inner workings of client organizations to understand their strengths, challenges, and areas of opportunity.
Innovative Collaboration: Team up with colleagues to brainstorm, ideate, and evolve sustainable concepts and actionable solutions.
Presentation Design: Craft compelling presentations that encapsulate findings and recommendations.
Engaging Delivery: Confidently present findings and concepts to clients, ensuring clarity and actionable takeaways.

Consultant (Legal)
As a Consultant (Legal), you will work on projects that specifically require legal expertise. Much of your work will focus on advising startups and scale-ups that are preparing for market entry and need guidance on regulatory strategy, intellectual property, and other key legal aspects. In many cases, you’ll be the first to map out a legal framework for the venture, helping to lay the foundation for long-term success. You will work in interdisciplinary teams alongside business consultants, ensuring that legal considerations are seamlessly integrated with business goals and strategic decisions.
Your Responsibilities:
Compliance Research: Identify legal requirements related to market entry and risks associated with product safety and compliance, delivering actionable solutions to ensure regulatory alignment.
Legal Analysis: Analyze client needs to identify all legal considerations and provide step-by-step guidance tailored for non-legal professionals to meet legal requirements effectively.
Sustainability Regulation: Conduct research on sustainability reporting requirements and subsidy eligibility, providing clients with clear pathways to meet regulatory obligations.
Business Consulting: Collaborate with business consultants on market research, strategy development, and broader business initiatives as needed.
Engaging Delivery: Present findings and actionable recommendations in a clear, engaging manner, ensuring clients understand and can implement next steps effectively.

Consultant (STEM)
Project Leader
As a Project Leader, you will lead a team of consultants through projects across a wide range of industries and subject areas, with a particular focus on business strategy, sustainability strategy, business model development, and market entry. You will take ownership of the project’s direction, manage client relationships, and ensure the team delivers high-quality, forward-looking solutions that align with both commercial goals and sustainability objectives. By leading the team’s work and supporting individual development, you will play a key role in creating real-world impact and sustainable value through each project.
Your Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Lead a team of six consultants, alongside a Co-Project Leader and under the guidance of a Project Partner.
Project Management: Oversee the execution of a consulting project, ensuring delivering on client needs by managing project planning, organizing tasks, and maintaining quality standards.
Conceptual Design: Answer the client’s problem by conceptualizing the project content and guiding the consulting team, providing input on research and analysis.
Client Management: Actively manage your client relationships, leading presentations and meetings to ensure constructive collaboration.
Team Development: Provide guidance to your consultants, facilitating their consulting skill development, creating opportunities for growth, and fostering a close-knit team dynamic.

Completed bachelor’s degree in any major and enrolled at the University of St.Gallen.

Experience in consulting or project management (e.g. through internships) strongly preferred.

Fluent professional English; German is an asset.

An average of 18 hours of work per week during the lecture period (no work during study and exam phases).
Finance & Data Manager
As a Finance & Data Manager, you will support our club by organizing budgets, tracking finances, and analyzing data to ensure our projects and initiatives are effective and well-managed. As a member of Student Impact (SI), you will actively drive positive change with other dedicated students as part of the SI community.
Your Responsibilities:
Expense Tracking: Manage the bookkeeping and track expenses for all club projects.
Budget Analysis: Monitor budgets and analyze financial performance to support sustainable decision-making.
Data Analysis: Prepare, analyze, and present data to support the club’s strategy and operations.
Team Feedback: Conduct biweekly surveys to gather insights on team satisfaction, learning outcomes, and feedback on workshops.

Enrolled at the University of St.Gallen (minimum 5th bachelor semester or any master’s program, ideally with a focus on Accounting and Finance).
Personal interest in sustainability, consulting, finance, and data management (no previous experience necessary).

Fluent professional English and understanding of German.
Willingness to engage for at least two semesters.
An average of flexible 14 hours per week during the lecture periods (no work during study and exam phases).
Operations Associate
As a member of Student Impact (SI), you will actively drive positive change with other dedicated students as part of the SI community.
Your Responsibilities:
Work together with the community engagement manager to organize and plan exclusive events, trips, and parties for the SI community
Support the marketing & communication manager in marketing and corporate communication activities on platforms such as LinkedIn and Instagram
Help the digital development manager in optimizing digital processes and tools to enhance the clubs and projects concept developments efficiency and quality of work
Cooperate with the finance & data manager on data analytics and financial management tasks, including tracking qualitative and quantitative success metrics
