Project Leader
As a Project Leader, you will lead a team of consultants through projects across a wide range of industries and subject areas, with a particular focus on business strategy, sustainability strategy, business model development, and market entry. You will take ownership of the project’s direction, manage client relationships, and ensure the team delivers high-quality, forward-looking solutions that align with both commercial goals and sustainability objectives. By leading the team’s work and supporting individual development, you will play a key role in creating real-world impact and sustainable value through each project.
Your Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Lead a team of six consultants, alongside a Co-Project Leader and under the guidance of a Project Partner.
Project Management: Oversee the execution of a consulting project, ensuring delivering on client needs by managing project planning, organizing tasks, and maintaining quality standards.
Conceptual Design: Answer the client’s problem by conceptualizing the project content and guiding the consulting team, providing input on research and analysis.
Client Management: Actively manage your client relationships, leading presentations and meetings to ensure constructive collaboration.
Team Development: Provide guidance to your consultants, facilitating their consulting skill development, creating opportunities for growth, and fostering a close-knit team dynamic.

Completed bachelor’s degree in any major and enrolled at the University of St.Gallen.
Personal interest in sustainability and consulting.
Experience in consulting or project management (e.g. through internships) strongly preferred.
Motivation to learn and openness to reflect.
Authenticity, a strong team-player attitude, and a spirit to be part of our community.
Fluent professional English; German is an asset.
Willingness to engage for at least two semesters.An average of 18 hours of work per week during the lecture period (no work during study and exam phases).
Consultant (Business / Legal / STEM)
As a Consultant, you will work on projects across a wide range of industries and subject areas, with a particular focus on business strategy, sustainability strategy, business model development, and market entry. You will support clients in navigating complex challenges and developing tailored, forward-looking solutions that align with both commercial goals and sustainability objectives. Depending on the project and your personal background, your contribution may lean more towards business, legal, or STEM expertise – for instance, when a project specifically requires legal guidance (e.g. regulatory strategy, market entry, intellectual property) or when data-driven and technically demanding questions are at the core (e.g. data science, machine learning, technical feasibility). Together with an interdisciplinary team of consultants, you will contribute to creating real-world impact and sustainable value through each project.
Your Responsibilities:
Market & Compliance Research: Delve into public sources and conduct external interviews to gather data and insights, and – where relevant – identify regulatory requirements and risks related to market entry, product safety, and compliance.
Business & Legal Analysis: Examine the inner workings of client organizations to understand their strengths, challenges, and areas of opportunity, and where needed, map out all relevant legal considerations with step-by-step guidance tailored for non-legal stakeholders.
Data & Technical Insights: Where the project requires it, use web scraping, open-source data, APIs, and analytical tools (e.g. Python) to deliver quantitative insights and technical feasibility analyses that inform strategic decision-making.
Innovative Collaboration: Team up with colleagues to brainstorm, ideate, and evolve sustainable concepts and actionable solutions.
Presentation Design: Craft compelling presentations that encapsulate findings and recommendations.
Engaging Delivery: Confidently present findings and concepts – whether strategic, legal, or technical – to clients, ensuring clarity and actionable takeaways.

Personal interest in sustainability and consulting (no previous experience necessary).
Exposure to legal research or initial experience with data-driven work is an asset – but not a requirement.

Operations Associate
As a member of Student Impact (SI), you will actively drive positive change with other dedicated students as part of the SI community.
Your Responsibilities:
Work together with the community engagement manager to organize and plan exclusive events, trips, and parties for the SI community
Support the marketing & communication manager in marketing and corporate communication activities on platforms such as LinkedIn and Instagram
Help the digital development manager in optimizing digital processes and tools to enhance the clubs and projects concept developments efficiency and quality of work
Cooperate with the finance & data manager on data analytics and financial management tasks, including tracking qualitative and quantitative success metrics
